Mr. Kalani M. Lal
Chairman
Mr.Kalani M Lal is the founder & Managing Director of KBC Group of companies in Dubai, UAE. He has over 20 years’ experience in financial services in the emerging Markets and Investment Banking. Currently he is the CEO of KBC – Aldini Capital Limited, Regulated by DFSA in Dubai. He has been an Investment Banker for over 20 years and is a seasoned professional with considerable experience in International Trade Finance and structuring.
Mr.Kalani has built an extensive network of investors and clients during his distinguished banking career over the past decade. He has raised more than US$400M for Indian Sovereign Bonds & IMD in 2000. He has successfully managed to strike deals in Structured Finance, Real estate over US $ 300 million (2006-2008). With excellent hands on expertise in real estate/Equity market he has managed to where he has managed to get a yield of IRR up to 100% to his investors
Mr. Kalani holds a Post Graduate Management Degree from top notch business school in India.
Ms. Irina Chadaeva
Director
Senior global executive with over 25 years of financial markets experience with wide-ranging expertise in international institutional sales, account management and project management. Entrepreneur by nature, played a key role in setting up and ensuring sustainable growth of two financial services companies – a successful FX/CFD broker and an innovative accounts receivable finance business.
Proven success in building and driving high performing teams. With hands-on experience in corporate operations and strategy, garnered significant experience and great track record with legal and compliance structures related to investment business, delivered results across teams and markets. Developed an extensive personal network of industry contacts based in the UK, Denmark, Switzerland, Malta, and the Cayman Islands.
Mr. Matthew Deguara
Director
Matthew Deguara is a Maltese citizen, and an established name in catering and retail sector. He graduated from University of Durham in 2001 with degree in Economics.
Mathew worked Chase manhattan Bank in Bournemouth UK before starting his bachelors program at the Durham University. After graduating with a Bachelors, Mathew travelled throughout Asia and Australia for several years.
Upon returning to Malta he started his retail operations, from restaurants to retail fashion outlets. Over a very short period of time he has become a major force in the retail sector in Malta. Establishing Gigi’s Café in St Julians, Ben & Jerry’s, Monsoon & Accesorize in Libya, Dune London, Natuzzi Italia, to name just a few of the retail brands he established.
Currently Mathew is also carving out his position in the property development and industrial leasing operation.
He has a depth of experience on retail sector, and is a successful entrepreneur.
Michèle Yianni - Attard
CFO
Michele Yianni-Attard is a distinguished professional with over 30 years of experience in accounting, finance, and business development. She has held senior roles such as Director, CFO, Senior Accountant, and Tax Advisor in start-ups, multi-million corporations, and NGOs. Michele excels in streamlining operations to enhance growth and profitability, and she is adept in business and financial controls, productivity improvements, and change management.
An International Accountant and former FCA10a compliant, Michele was recognized as one of the Top 50 Women in Accounting in 2021. She is an Ambassador for the Institute of Accountants & Bookkeepers UK and continues to manage accounting, payroll, and financial management for companies with up to 160 staff and turnovers of £10 million. Her expertise spans 22 accountancy software packages and CRM systems, with a client portfolio across finance, property, hospitality, and retail.
